Thatapos;s right, I gave birth to these two forces, aka DD1 (order) and DD2 (chaos). This is DHapos;s assessment. Heapos;s right.

First off, we have DD1, who has always been obedient--for the most part, as much as you can expect from a young child--and organizes everything. You should see pictures of what she did before she was three Puzzles, blocks (by color and/or size), ANYTHING And sheapos;s older and organizes more complex processes and pieces now.

Then comes DD2. Opposite personality. Completely chaotic. Must destroy everything. DD1 and DH have discovered that they cannot build anything or try to organize anything without DD2 coming along and--swoosh--toys, blocks, mechs, etc. everywhere. She must dump out every toy box (sterilite and rubbermaid containers full of various toys) if she sees a clean floor. Duplos get dumped over the kitchen table, swept onto the floor--those that didnapos;t already already fall there--and hardly ever touched again. Clothes must be pulled from all drawers anytime of day for no apparent reason and thrown across the bedroom floor, along with pillows and stuffed animals from her bed. (Thank goodness DD1 gets up and down to her top bunk without the ladder DD2 canapos;t get up without the ladder yet.)

Needless to say, I will never subject anyone else to caring for DD2 lest they go mad from the sheer frustration, or lose all their hair.

I have learned to cope with the constant mess and merely sit and shake my head. Iapos;ve given up trying to keep things clean around here. Thank goodness DD1 is Order. Sheapos;s old enough to pick up the mess so I donapos;t have to, and she almost takes a certain pleasure from it...unless DD2 interferes to make more of a mess before the first can be cleaned up.
